A PTB Simulation Based Training workshop for the implementation of Lean Engineering Practices in projects and programs, will be given at the INCOSE 2014 International Workshop.

Workshop Objectives and Agenda: The 4 hour workshop provides an opportunity to learn about the latest powerful tool which takes the Lean Enablers from concepts into real-world organizational practice. We will explain what Lean Enablers are and their connection to the Lean principles, and the implementation of these Enablers in engineering and project management practices. We will introduce the Project Team Builder (PTB) Simulator which is an innovative and unique tool designed as a training/teaching means for the lean project management methodology for project managers, project teams and system engineers.

What you will learn: Participants will learn the answers to the following questions, and more: What is Lean Program Management and why do people care about it? How does Simulation Based Training (SBT) differ from “conventional” training for Lean Program Management? How does the PTB Simulator address and measure the Lean Enablers? Participants will get hands-on experience in this workshop using the PTB simulator on a real-life case study from the defense industry.

Who Should Attend: This workshop should be attended by system engineers and program managers with various levels of experience as well as product or engineering managers, or anyone else who is interested in experiencing these innovative concepts and tool. Please join us! This will be the ideal opportunity to learn more about the lean enablers and gain hands-on experience in their application in real-life cases using a simulator.

Let us know if you would like to participate.
