Overview
In this simulation, students learn how to apply core project management concepts on different use-cases. They learn how to manage time, cost and scope and consider different alternative methods for executing a project. This is done with the PTB™ simulator.
Users can manage three different projects. The goal is to successfully complete the project, while meeting all the requirements and constraints. The student starts by creating a plan for the project. Once an acceptable plan is created the student goes on to advance the simulation time and see the outcomes of the decisions made. Not everything goes according to plan and as the project is being executed it has to constantly be monitored and controlled. Finally, a score is received, which summarizes the performance.
Target Audience
The simulation is intended for individuals who are new to project management, want to strengthen their skills, or desire to gain hands-on experience in core project management concepts. No prior project management knowledge is required.

Duration and Format
Thirty minutes for each simulation. The simulation takes place 100% online. An email will be sent after purchase with the access details. The access will expire after 60 days.

Technical Requirements
To use the simulation an Internet connection and a Windows XP or later Microsoft updated operating system are required.
